Vacancy – Carer Support Worker (Positive Tracks Project)
Carers of West Dunbartonshire is an innovative and value-based charity, which supports those who look after a family member or friend due to illness, disability, frailty or addiction. The organisation is seeking to recruit the following:
Carer Support Worker
(POSITIVE TRACKS PROJECT)
28 hours per week (worked over 4 days)
Initially fixed term for 24 months
As Carer Support Worker for the POSITIVE TRACKS PROJECT, you will provide support and advice to older carers aged 75 and over, particularly those who are caring for another older person.
You will be a highly motivated individual who ideally has experience in Community Care, older people and dementia and have a good understanding of the issues relating to unpaid carers.
